Passion and Discipline: From Six to Seven Figure Entrepreneurs

Melissa Krivachek 2 Melissa Krivachek was 19 and making six figures working for Walmart and Family Dollar as an Executive. Then in 2008, it all came crashing down. She got fired from Walmart, was 50K in debt and then spent 6 nights in jail after getting too many speeding tickets. She hit rock bottom. And this girl does love her speed. In fact, her love of speed motivated something else. She was determined to turn her life around quickly.

She immersed herself in personal and professional growth books, videos, seminars – anything she could get her hands on. She surrounded herself with people that were doing what she wanted to do.

And what did she want to do? She wanted to help six figure earners make seven figures. She wanted to find the simple principles behind highly successful people and help others to apply those principles. Her first client went from living with his parents with no job, no money and five kids to 2.5 years later running a successful personal training business that made him a millionaire. And, to top it off, his kids are making 6 figure salaries too.

Increasing Earnings from Six to Seven Figures

Melissa’s business coaching focuses on helping clients get clarity, create a niche market, expand on their credibility and charge a premium for an experience and not just a service. She takes a client-centered approach to ensuring that a client receives the service he or she needs. According to Melissa, to succeed at earning seven figures you need to have:

  • Passion – loving what you do and determining your strengths.
  • Discipline – staying on course no matter what comes in the way
  • Commitment – dedicating yourself to your work and your professional goals
  • Focus – zeroing in and becoming a master and delegating what shouldn’t get your attention

She asks two questions to help clients see how important it is to act and not stay stuck:

  1. How much is it costing you to stay where you are?
  2. How much has it already cost you because you didn’t take action?

Melissa is a true believer in commitment and that motivation comes from within. She stresses that a drive to succeed is the key to success. And if you commit half way, expect half way results.

Commitment is about doing what you need to do when you need to do it; not about what you want to do when you want to do it.

And how do you insure brand integrity when you delegate? Be sure to set clear instructions and policies and monitor to make sure you are receiving quality business to business service.

Melissa also points out that it is important to surround yourself with people that have done more than you have. Find a coach or mentor that knows how to achieve what you are after because they have experienced what you seek. They’ve walked in the shoes you want to wear.
