The at-risk youth entrepreneurship seminars are a strong area of focus for the Saturday Morning Foundation. Our founder, Denis Nurmela, trained high level executives and CEOs on many occasions. After just one session of training youth, especially those who have been through great challenges, his heart was committed to expanding the reach of this program.
Some of the youth in his first seminar had been to prison, others had been abused at home and some were still being abused. These young entrepreneurs are serious about making a difference in their lives. They took copious notes, asked real solid questions and did what they needed to work on getting their own businesses started. Mr. Denis, as the students call him, enjoys this outreach program of our foundation with a greater passion than anything else we are doing.
A scholarship donation can range from even partially helping a deserving young person to attend the training to setting up a planned giving program as part of a scholarship fund named after you or your company.
Hear what these two students had to say about the program. They were both students in his first seminar series. Daniel and Eduardo share from their heart in these 3 minutes of video testimony about the program and how it has been helpful to them.
